Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu has stated that NASA leader Raila Odinga is up to no good despite his handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

In a clip seen by Ureport, Waititu said that Odinga will destroy Jubilee Party before 2022 and they need to be wary of him.

“He will make Jubilee Party members clash and by 2022 he will be back to his old self – insulting the party and the President.

“We will end up as losers and people from Mt. Kenya will be the laughing stock,” he said during a function this week.

The governor added that Odinga should not be lecturing them on matters corruption and they should not sit down and listen to him like a bishop.

“We will not allow him to mislead us…we know him,” said Waititu.

In recent months, the former Prime Minister has maintained that the handshake was purely meant to bring Kenyans together and not to create new alliances.

Leaders from Deputy President William Ruto’s camp, however, believe that Baba is out to ensure the DP does not get the top seat.

Last week, Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen stated that Odinga’s intentions were suspect and it is clear that he is eyeing the 2022 Presidential race.

“Why is Raila now engaging in political activities at the expense of bringing Kenyans together for the sake of unity and development? Why is it that his brigade is just talking about him in the race in 2022?

“This is a clear indication that he has a sinister motive,” he said.
