Female politician pays Sh6m for land despite owner demanding Sh2m

Where did a politician who has been hogging the news headlines reap windfall from?

This is the question residents of the village the leader hails from are asking themselves after the female politician splashed millions of shillings to buy land.

The Grapevine has been told that the outspoken former lawmaker paid Sh6 million for the parcel of land, despite the owner of the property at first demanding Sh2 million. 

It is not clear what the leader of one arm of a county government plans to do on the property, but it definitely must be something that will assist in recouping the huge investment.
