Mourinho delivers some good news to Man United fans ahead of Arsenal clash

Jose Mourinho has remained adamant and intends to keep his best player at the club.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday, the Man United manager said there is ‘no chance’ of David De Gea leaving the club in the summer.

The Spaniard was in fine form since Louis Van Gaal’s era and has improved a lot under Jose Mourinho, moving close to being rated as arguably the world’s best goalkeeper.

He has been a subject of speculation during transfer windows but has stayed put at Old Trafford, even though he could have left the club after LVG’s first season if it wasn’t for a faulty fax machine.

Real Madrid is believed to have reduced their interest in the Man United shot-stopper and turned their attention to Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois.

Mourinho also backed January signing Alexis Sanchez to deliver next season, saying the Chilean attacker has Premier League experience and his abilities are the reason many clubs wanted him.

“He was playing in the Premier League for years. We all know how good he was, that's why he was chased by many teams I believe. That's why we fought to have him here and I was sure he was the right player not just by his typical playing qualities but by his mentality,” said Mourinho.
