Twitter goes crazy after Miguna says he was drugged before being deported to Dubai

Self-proclaimed general of the National Resistance Movement Dr Miguna Miguna was deported for the second time on Wednesday night. He landed in Dubai this morning but said that he would not leave the airport. The ‘general’ said that he was assaulted and drugged at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) before forcefully being put on the Dubai-bound flight. Through a message received by newsrooms, Miguna said he woke up in Dubai feeling sick and needed medical attention. He also insisted that the only flight he wanted was one back to Nairobi. “I woke up in Dubai and the despots are here insisting that I must travel on to London. I’m sick. I need medical treatment. A Mr Njihia is threatening me. I need urgent help here. I want to take a flight only to Nairobi. Nowhere else! Disseminate it elsewhere,” said Miguna as seen on The Standard. Kenyans reacted heavily to Miguna’s second deportation, most displeased with the fact that police defied three court orders and forcefully put Miguna on the flight.
