Uhuru is very afraid of Miguna, says Boniface Mwangi

National Resistance Movement (NRM) self-proclaimed general Miguna Miguna on Monday 26 March landed at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) from Canada where he was deported by the government in February.

However, since Miguna landed on Monday afternoon, he has not been able to get out of the airport with reports indicating that he had refused to produce a visa that is required for him to get into Kenya from the Airport.

With a view of the government specifically President Uhuru Kenyatta being behind this, human rights activist Boniface Mwangi has taken a swipe at him citing that he is afraid of Miguna Miguna that is why his officers won't let Miguna out of the airport into the country.

Mwangi added that the government had been defying the orders by the court on Miguna Miguna because of his brilliant and on-point jibes at the government. He added that indeed Miguna is a patriot.

"Truth be told, President Uhuru Kenyatta is very afraid of Miguna Miguna. The government is defying court orders because they fear Miguna. Miguna doesn’t sugarcoat his words. Miguna speaks truth to power boldly. Miguna is a patriot," said Boniface Mwangi.

Miguna was deported to Canada in February following his involvement in the 'swearing in' of NASA leader Raila Odinga as the people's president. He was detained in police cells for a week before he was moved to the JKIA and flown to Canada.
