Bomb squad dispatched at Kalonzo’s home after grenade-like object hurled at his house

A Bomb squad has been dispatched at National Super Alliance (NASA) Co-Principal Kalonzo Musyoka’s home in Karen after claims that a grenade-like object was hurled at his house at around 2.am on Wednesday 31 January.

The Karen OCPD Cunnigham Suiyanka confirmed that no one was injured but the police are already investigating the matter.

A security guard said unknown people in two vehicles drove by the home, opened fire and hurled a device into the compound.

The Opposition leader Raila Odinga was finally sworn in at Uhuru Park on January 30, 2018, as the People’s President and not the President of Republic of Kenya.

Raila said Kalonzo who was supposed to be sworn in as the People’s Deputy President of Kenya was not at the venue but was with them in spirit.

Mr. Odinga however, said that Kalonzo will be sworn in another day and an explanation of why he was absent will be communicated to them.
