Kenyans’ responses to Raila after he claimed police shot his daughter’s driver

National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga, while condemning police brutality dispensed on his supporters ahead of the planned memorial service at Jacaranda Grounds, claimed that police shot Winnie Odinga’s driver along with five other people.

“Nasa flagbearer Raila Odinga this afternoon condemned the shooting by police of at least five people as the NASA motorcade was trying to barrow its way to the memorial service at Jacaranda Gardens for earlier killings. Among those shot was his daughter Winnie Odinga's driver. Jacaranda Gardens had earlier been sealed off by police to prevent the memorial service from taking place,” read a statement from Raila’s advisor Salim Lone.
