Mutahi Ngunyi- Why Raila Odinga is finished

Controversial political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi on Sunday 19 November said that National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga is ‘finished’ despite the Supreme Court ruling that is meant to take place on Monday 20 November.

Mutahi also went ahead and said that President Uhuru Kenyatta should arrest Raila for incitement and treason should he attempt to swear himself in.

“Unless Raila is governed by super natural laws out there, Uhuru should just arrest him. One he should charge him with incitement to violence and the Friday mayhem should be summoned to back this up. Number two, should Raila attempt to swear himself in, he should be charged with high treason… Raila is a bully, and all bullies thrive in spaces where authority is weak,” said Mutahi Ngunyi.

The political analyst with his students from the Fort Hall School of Government said that President Trump’s authority snubbed Mr Odinga during his visit to the United States. They also said that Raila’s fall is not only from the rejection of the Americans but also from the people.

“Although the msunguzs rejected him, his most painful rejection is from the people and the people have rejected Raila, his homecoming is evidence of this,” said one of Mutahi Ngunyi’s students.

The Supreme Court of Kenya is expected to deliver its final verdict on the two presidential petitions challenging President Uhuru’s victory in the October 26 repeat Presidential election. All eyes will be on the Chief Justice David Maraga to either pave way to President Uhuru for his second swearing in, or nullify the repeat election just like he did the August 8 election.
