Doctors,who went to school for seven painful years, don't make good husbands. We appreciate them for their noble duty of treating us and not dropping out of school. As professionals, they are the best and a true testimony that hard work and brilliance pays. After all, most high school students aspire to be doctors when they grow up.

While marrying a doctor comes with the prestige of being married in a high social class, the pain and suffering of doctor's wives is untold. To begin with, they have to deal with loneliness. It so happens that doctors work long hours and are always away from home. Therefore,a mke mwema will have to fold her arms and wait for mzee to be done with his work.
