Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) destroy Sauti Sol after their tweet on political slogans

Popular music group Sauti Sol became the victims of criticism after a tweet they posted, criticizing popular slogans used in political rallies in Kenya.

This is not the first time Sauti Sol has come under attack from Kenyans on Twitter.

On their Facebook and Twitter pages, the group mocked the popular ‘Tibim’ Tialala’’ and ‘Tano Tena’ slogans, saying that they are empty and have no development records attached to them.

These posts did not seem to go well with most Kenyans.

Political enthusiasts and Kenyans at large took to social media to respond to Sauti Sol, most not amused by the posts and wondering why they would even comment about political situations in the first place.

Foolish Sauti Sol don't know Kenyans went on the streets to give musicians the freedom to sing. They should ask Eric Wainaina 1999.— Eric (@amerix) October 12, 2017

I also said Sauti Sol is a bunch of middle class fools not interested in the issues of governance in this nation.

The day you will have no Country to record, sing & people to buy your songs is the day U will know that political songs are more powerful.— Charles O. Sonko (@MaskiniMilionea) October 12, 2017

When I told my frens two years ago that I don't listen to @sautisol music & that ad rather Heart the band or Sukuma bin Ongaro, they laughed
