A man accused of groping a woman in public yesterday claimed he was propelled to do so by her stunning beauty and uncontrollable attraction to her.

Alexander Mbondo told a court in Mombasa yesterday that he was smitten with the woman and proclaimed willingness to “marry her instantly” if she agreed to his proposal. But the woman, a mother of two, said she is happily married.
