Find out Wafula Chebukati’s new plan for both Jubilee and NASA ahead of October 17

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission Chairman Wafula Chebukati has announced that the commission has extended a hand to both Jubilee Party and the National Super Alliance (NASA) asking them to attend a joint meeting slated for next week.

"The Commission has reached out to both NASA and Jubilee for a joint meeting next week on poll preparations to update and address concerns,” said Chebukati through a statement.

Raila Odinga and the NASA brigade had threatened to boycott elections, asking for the removal of IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba with immediate effect.

This is becoming seemingly unlikely, as members of the commission had a retreat to discuss their problems and came out promising Kenyans that they are ready to conduct elections.

The Supreme Court of Kenya made history, becoming the first court in Africa to nullify presidential elections and ordering for a fresh one, slated for October 17th 2017.
