LET'S PREACH PEACE TO ALL KENYANS

Political temperatures are rising in the country as every politician is drumming support for their candidature. Youths and other gangs are grouping to ensure by hook or crook their candidates emerge winners.

When campaigns begin many people forget the word 'peace' and go overboard to an extent of vandalising and destroying property as well as other people losing lives. What we should not forget is that whether NASA or Jubilee wins the elections we will remain Kenyans.

We should not be carried away by campaign to an extent of killing our fellow citizens. We should preach a message of peace. Religious leaders and the clergy should teach their followers the importance of peace.

Also, political leaders should not be left behind but be a tool for peace and unity wherever they go. Kenyans should not witness the recent incidences of political hate chaos that might result into unsustainable war. President Kenyatta and Nasa leader Raila Odinga faced the unimaginable eruptions of chaos in their campaigns, while rowdy youths invaded the rallies with opposing messages.

The youth should turn their energy into more meaningful use for an equivocal coexistence. I am looking forward to a day before the polls to see billboards across the country of both NASA and Jubilee leaders advocating for peace. This would go along way in assuring Kenyans that peace is guaranteed.
