The Denis Itumbi mud house arguement that shadowed woman's moment with the presidnet

State House’s Digital director Denis Itumbi has had an eye catching mud house argument online after he posted a photograph showing a woman trying to take a photo of President Uhuru Kenyatta when he visited her home in Kisii County.

On several occasions both the president and his deputy have been disapproved for what many termed misplaced priorities as they connect electricity to many Kenyan families living in mud or grass thatched houses.

Mr Itumbi said it was wrong for one to expect everyone to live in a mansion arguing that it was not even possible.

He said he had grown in such a house and had not demolished it despite having a new home and that his grandfather had also loved mud grass thatched houses over a long time.

Some argued that nothing wrong as people living in such houses in their rural areas have no fears of being locked out over unpaid rent and that a good number of people criticizing the leaders for visiting such home are tenants in urban areas who have abandoned their such homes in rural areas.

The president had toured several places in Kisii County on Tuesday where he initiated road construction works and delivered the news that the Standard Gauge Railway would pass through the county to Kisumu.

Today the president is expected to campaign in Nyamira before moving to Western Kenya counties where he is countering massive support for the opposition.

Opposition leaders dismissed claims that Nyamira and Kisii county were swing vote areas.
