 A Nakuru Asian businessman is seeking to divorce his wife because she has become physically and emotionally violent. The man wants their marriage to be dissolved, a divorce a decree issued and his wife to pay the cost of the divorce suit.

In his papers, he claims that they solemnized their marriage on July 21, 2002 under the Hindu marriage and divorce act, (now repealed), at the Shree Visa Oshwal Community Temple in Nakuru.
