It is not often one has five successive days of rest, three granted by our ‘benevolent’ government. Those wise enough made vacation plans as soon as they got a whiff of the impending long holiday. For the rest though, we had to scramble some last-minute strategies to see us through this period. Fortunately, Nairobi is never short of options. There are new eateries worth your indulgence, a national park to visit, and natural forests to explore. I opted for the latter.
