National women’s volleyball team left attacker Evelyne Makuto, has been appointed Kenya Prisons captain ahead of next month’s Africa Club Championships in Tunis, Tunisia. Makuto, who won the best player award in the 2015 African Nations Cup Championship after helping Malkia Strikers retain the continental title in Nairobi, takes over the arm-band from Loice Jepkosgei. “Kenya Prisons believes in rotating players to take leadership roles... ,” read a statement from Prisons.
