Real Madrid have given up their chase of David De Gea — while Eden Hazard has told the club he does not want to join them.

The Champions League winners have been linked with moves for the Manchester United keeper and Chelsea’s wing wizard for a number of months.

But, according to Don Balon, Real have decided to ditch plans of a bid for De Gea, 26, as Jose Mourinho is furious over their handling of Alvaro Morata negotiations.

United wanted to bring the out-of-favour Spaniard to Old Trafford with a deal looking likely at one point.

Meanwhile, Diario Gol are reporting that Eden Hazard, 26, called Real boss Zinedine Zidane to tell him he has no intention of moving to the Bernabeu.

Real have been heavily linked with a move for Hazard this summer with Zidane admitting he is a big admirer of the Belgian international
