Former Brighton star Paul McCarthy passes on

Former Brighton and Wycombe star Paul McCarthy has passed on aged just 45 of suspected heart attack, as per the Sun.

The defender died suddenly in horrendous circumstances just five years after hanging his boots.

The fallen legend started his career at Brighton, making over 200 appearances before joining Wycombe Wanderers in 1996.

He made over 500 appearances in the Football League and Football Conference, notably for Brighton & Hove Albion, Wycombe Wanderers and Ebbsfleet United.
