Kabras Sugar are the 2024 Enterprise Cup champions.

Kabras won a fourth straight Enterprise Cup title on Saturday after thumping arch rivals KCB 32-20 in an entertaining final played at the RFUEA Grounds in Nairobi.

The sugar men completed a double for the season running as they close out the 2023-2024 season unbeaten.

Kabras started the match on the front foot after Humphrey Asiligwa broke free from the midfield, selling a pair of wheels to touch down between the posts for a 7-0 lead after Ntabeni Dukisa’s conversion in the third minute.

Elvis Namusasi cut the lead to four points moments later after splitting the posts with a penalty before Dukisa restored the sugar men’s seven-point advantage with his own penalty as Kabras led 10-3.

Namusasi again added three points to trail 10-6 before Dukisa again restoring Kabras to a 13-6 lead in the 30th minute.

As series of push and pull plays followed before KCB suffered a setback as Namusasi was shown a red card for a high tackle on Kabras full back Erick Cantona.

Cantona would be stretchered off the pitch and replaced by Hillary Salano but the sugar millers could not break the bankers before half time as they led 13-6 at the break.

In the final half, Dukisa got his name to the score sheet after an individual brilliance where he dummied two KCB defenders before touching down a try that he converted to stretch the scores to 20-6.

Against the run of play, Ahmed Shaban set the match alive after crossing over the white wash for a 20-13 score despite playing with 14 men.

Rising star James Olela restored Kabras dominance moments later after scoring in the corner for a 25-13 lead.

KCB were not giving up yet as Michael Wamalwa scored before Levy Amunga converted for a 25-20 score.

However, all hopes of a super comeback were put to rest when Teddy Akala intercepted a KCB quick line out play to cross over and seal a 32-20 win after conversion.
