Koyonzo, St Peters Mumias and Kakamega High run riot in rugby sevens

National rugby sevens champions Koyonzo Secondary begun their Kakamega County Secondary Schools championship defense according to plan, after posting impressive results in their opening games.

Koyonzo defeated Mukhonje 57-0 before thrashing Malava 83-0. At the same time, St Peter's Mumias picked a 64-5 victory over Mwihila before hammering Milimani 50-0.
