Defending champions Butali Warriors have opened a six-point gap between them and second-placed Kenya Police in the 2022 Kenya Hockey Union (KHU) Premier League standings after registering their ninth win of the season.

Butali saw off Wazalendo 4-1 to open the gap against the servicemen who were not in action over the weekend.
