Wenger refuses to let Mourinho sit next to him

Arsene Wenger has launched a thinly-disguised attack on Jose Mourinho after the Arsenal boss refused to let his rival sit next to him at a UEFA conference.

According to Marca, Mourinho arrived late for a conference where Sir Alex Ferguson was waiting to give the welcome speech to world’s top coaches.

There were few empty seats, so he asked if anyone was sitting there- but a quick response came from Wenger who told him to move on after trying to seat next to him.

The feud between the managers dates back to Mourinho's first spell in charge of Chelsea when he branded Wenger a "voyeur."

The managerial rivals did not shake hands after the Community Shield in August last year, the first time Wenger had beaten Mourinho in 14 meetings.

It is understood Mourinho is determined to offer a hand of friendship to his Arsenal counterpart- but the tension between the two managers doesn't appear to be going anywhere.
