Mesut Ozil's eight seasons at Arsenal have been a roller-coaster ride full of highs and lows, with the 32-year-old recently left out of the Gunners' Europa League and Premier League squads by manager Mikel Arteta.

When he first made the move to the Emirates back in 2013 from Real Madrid, the capture was viewed as something of a coup for Arsenal.
