Confederation of African Football officials are lucky fellows. Unlike me, who has been forced to make do with some wobbly hotel and still part with a daily rate of $141 (Sh14, 664), these guys are enjoying the cool ambience of the Radisson Blu Okoume Palace Hotel.

It is not that expensive; just $430 (Sh44, 720). But again, unlike my humble abode, where you are served with only one item for breakfast, the big guys have the luxury of two on-site restaurants for either buffet or a la carte dinning. When it comes to its bars, the bosses are spoilt for choice.
