Kenya Pipeline’s centre blocker Trizah Atuka was on Saturday night crowned the Magharibi Michezo Awards Overall Personality of the year during a colourful 2016 Gala night held at the Bungoma Sports Club in Bungoma County.

 Atuka beat Kenyan Premier League Top scorer John Makwata, who was had earlier been crowned the MMA footballer of the year. Atuka (pictured second left), a Mukumu Girls alumnus, played in all but two legs of the local competitions, helping Pipeline to retain the league for the third year running against tough opposition from the star-studded rivals Kenya Prisons.
