Over 300 players are expected to light up Mombasa city when they split for a double-header challenge at the mainland Nyali Golf & Country Club course and at the island's historic Seafront Mombasa Golf Club course on Saturday.

The fairways of the par 71 Nyali Golf & Country Club course is expected to be packed with 200 players seeking qualification slots in the NCBA Golf Series, the latest qualifying leg ahead of November’s Grand Finale at Karen Country Club.

While at the Seafront some 150 players will be battling for honours in the ‘Kambasome’ tournament, an annual 18-hole stableford event celebrating Kamba cultural heritage, unity and networking.

The twin tournaments will feature top amateurs and corporate teams, further cementing the coast's status as a key golfing destination in the country.
