The UEFA Champions League Round of 16 resumes on Tuesday night (today) with English Premier League champions Manchester City hosting German outfit Leipzig at Etihad Stadium and Inter Milan who are carrying a one-goal advantage travel to play Porto in Portugal.

Here is a look at what's happening in the Champions League on Tuesday:

Porto vs. Inter Milan (0-1)

Porto will try to reverse the 1-0 first-leg loss at Inter Milan without playmaker Otavio, who is suspended due to his red card in Italy.

Also not available for Porto is defender Joao Mario because of a knee injury. The Portuguese side will hope for another good outing by striker Mehdi Taremi, who has scored twice in the last three games.

Porto followed the loss in Milan with another defeat in the Portuguese league, but it won two in a row after that. Inter lost two out of three after beating Porto, including at lowly Spezia 2-1 in the Italian league on Friday.

Porto, the Champions League winner in 2004, is trying to make it to the last eight for the first time since 2021. Inter's last trip to the quarterfinals was in 2011.

Manchester City vs. Leipzig (1-1)

City is looking to reach the quarterfinals for the sixth straight season and stay on course to win the competition for the first time.

It's the fourth time in 18 months that the teams have met in the Champions League, having been drawn in the same group last season.

Each team has a win and there was a draw three weeks ago in the first leg that started with City in complete control and ended with the English champion looking vulnerable.

Since then, City has won four straight matches in domestic competitions and is looking a more dangerous team with Phil Foden back in the attack.

Leipzig last got beyond the last 16 in 2020, when it reached the semifinals and lost to Paris Saint-Germain. Dani Olmo is back for the German team after being out injured since January.
