Kenyan half marathon world record holder Geoffrey Kamworor was on Thursday taken to hospital with head and ankle injuries after a speeding motorcycle hit him from behind.

It is reported Kamworor, who is also a multiple world cross-country champion, was out for his morning walk when the incident happened.
