Manchester United's new away kit for next season has been leaked online ahead of its official unveiling.

The latest strip designed by Adidas was due to be launched later this month and made available to fans in the coming months.

The kit is described as 'legacy green' and has a pattern emblazoned across the shirt.

It will replace the current away kit at the end of the season and will be used throughout the entirety of the 2020/21 campaign.

The kit will be the first item of the new range of merchandise being released by United in the coming months.

Adidas have seemingly taken a play safe approach to the new strip, opting for simplicity over any bold, imaginative designs.

Previously leaked https://cdn.standardmedia.co.ke/images suggested kit makers were toying with colouring the club crest and Adidas logo orange, though latest pictures show they've stuck with white.

One player who may not get the chance to don the strip is striker Odion Ighalo, who could leave Man Utd as early as next week, according to reports.

The Nigerian star's loan concludes at the end of May, and parent club Shanghai Shenhua want Ighalo to report back to China for pre-season training.

Ighalo was only due to stay until the end of this season anyway, and United were hopeful of securing an extension to his loan to combat the delay in the season.

However it is also believed that United were considering a permanent deal for Ighalo following his impressive performances in attack.

Shenhua have always been keen for Ighalo to return to the club though, and even offered the 30-year-old a two-year extension worth £400,000 per week in January.

Ighalo would rather stay at Old Trafford, but with limited time left to impress, and United's need for a striker not as imperative as it was in January, he may have played his last game for the club.
