Arsenal are in the market for a new attack-minded midfielder after losing Aaron Ramsey on a free transfer to Juventus this week.

The Gunners have been linked to a whole host of players in this mould and club scouts have been working hard to take a closer look at some of them.

Below is a list of six players Arsenal have either taken a look at this summer or have been offered to sign.

And we've had a go at rating their chances of signing for the Gunners, taking into account the player's price tag alongside his willingness to complete a switch.

Wilfried Zaha

Current club: Crystal Palace

Chances of signing for Arsenal: 7/10

Zaha is Arsenal's number one target this summer and the club are desperate to complete a £40million transfer for the Crystal Palace man.

What's more, Zaha is keen on the switch, and is attempting to force through a move to the club he supported as a boy.

The deal should be a formality but Palace are holding out for double the fee Arsenal want to pay for him, and unless this changes, the transfer won't be happening.

Arsenal are set to test Palace's resolve twice more this summer before giving up.

Yannick Carrasco

Current club: Dalian Yifang

Chances of signing for Arsenal: 3/10

Carrasco has been an Arsenal target ever since Unai Emery took the reins in north London, and is a player the club has taken a look at.

But once again the cash-strapped Gunners are only prepared to pay a fraction of the £30million Dalian Yifang want for their prized asset.

Carrasco is not one of Arsenal's main transfer targets, meaning unless the requested fee is slashed dramatically the Gunners will look elsewhere.

Meanwhile, Rafael Benitez recently took charge of the Chinese Super League club, which could change Carrasco's mind on leaving in this transfer window.

Ryan Fraser

Current club: Bournemouth

Chances of signing for Arsenal: 5/10

Arsenal have taken a look at the Scotland international but his transfer fee is again a stumbling block for the Gunners.

Emery's side do have some cash to splash, but they plan to spend it wisely.

The club are not as keen on Fraser as they are Zaha, meaning his £30million transfer fee is not something the Gunners want to entertain.

Fraser himself is of the impression Bournemouth won't lower their asking price, and will therefore prevent him for leaving. But Arsenal might just pay up if they miss out on Zaha.

Nabil Fekir

Current club: Lyon

Chances of signing for Arsenal: 7/10

The former Liverpool transfer target has been offered to the Gunners for £30million.

It is the same transfer fee as Carrasco and Fraser but Arsenal consider the France international to be a higher calibre of player so may be convinced to make a bid.

The Gunners have spoken with the player over a possible transfer so there are legs to the story.

But Zaha remains the club's first choice for the time being.

Yacine Brahimi

Current club: Free agent

Chances of signing for Arsenal: 5/10

Brahimi recently became a free agent after his contract at Porto expired.

He'd want big wages to complete a switch to Arsenal but would be good value for money in that the club wouldn't have to pay a transfer fee.

The Gunners have taken a look at Brahimi but he's low down on their wishlist.

At this point the transfer is 50/50 but it could very quickly disintegrate into nothing if other clubs get involved and agree to pay him a large signing-on fee and lucrative wages.

Malcom

Current club: Barcelona

Chances of signing for Arsenal: 6/10

Malcom is the only player on this list that Arsenal haven't taken a look at but the Brazilian has been offered to the Gunners.

As aforementioned, Zaha is still very much the club's number one target, but Malcom could be a great alternative if the Gunners miss out on their first choice.

Barcelona have offered the winger to Arsenal on loan, meaning he wouldn't break the Gunners' already damaged bank.

Whether Malcom would be keen on the switch though remains to be seen.
