Masters 2019: Tiger Woods almost injured by Marshall [video]

Tiger Woods is back competing at The Masters but he was almost taken out by a marshall during his second round at Augusta National.

The legendary golfer had already enjoyed a strong start to the 2019 Masters thanks to a two-under-par first round.

He followed that up by closing in on the leaders with birdies galore only to miss two easy shots following a lightning delay.

But things almost took a serious turn for the worse following a remarkable shot on the 14th hole.

Woods got himself out of trouble to eventually move within two shots of the lead but was almost tripped up by a marshall, who slipped whilst trying to hold back the crowd as the video below shows.

The US golfer almost fell to the ground but kept his balance, much like he has during a second round at the Masters which has him in contention for the Green Jacket again.

With Woods just one shot off the lead going into the weekend, it seems that neither lightning nor an almost severe accident can keep Tiger down.

Maybe, just maybe, this is his year again.
