The position involves lifting eight-stone bags of coal, leaving him covered in soot, and chopping logs to burn in furnaces.

The Lotto winner revealed how "going broke is the best thing that happened to me" and said he's "never been happier" since returning to work.

Carroll was wearing an electronic tag for being drunk and disorderly when he won the jackpot.

He still plays the lottery but says he'd continue working if he won again, "to keep myself out of trouble".
