Manchester United have launched their new third kit for next season.
The blue strip made from recycled waste is inspired by the colours United wore 50 years since their first European Cup glory.
United won the cup in 1968 after Sir Matt Busby led them to a 4-1 win over Benfica at Wembley. This saw United become the first English club to be crowned champions of Europe.
The jerseys has been made from Parley thread with nine bottles used to make each jersey.
United director Richard Arnold was quoted by The Mirror saying, "It’s great to be able to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the club’s first European Cup win.
"This jersey represents an important moment for our club - when we became the first English team to win the competition.
"Adidas continues to demonstrate how forward thinking they are. We are all acutely aware of the threat of plastic to the environment and we are delighted to be able to raise further awareness with this recycled kit, which I am sure the fans will love."
Jesse Lingard, Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Alexis Sanchez, Juan Mata and Romelu Lukaku helped launched the new kit which has a slogan ‘For the oceans’ on the back of the neck.
The match kit will go for Sh 13K (£109.95) and Sh7K (£64.95) for the replica and will be available from Friday.
The kits will be worn by United for the first time during the pre-season tour of the United States.
