Chess: Under 21 tourney set for Ruaraka

It is all systems go for this weekend's Under 21 Chess tournament at KCB Sports Club, Ruaraka.

 The two-day tournament will serve as a relief for the upcoming players who feel they have been left out in the recent past due to lack of tournaments with international time control.

"The event will be FIDE-rated, and this is a good chance for players to earn more ratings," said an official from Epitome School of Chess, the tournament's organisers.

"Some of the highest rated junior players have already registered and interestingly some are flying into the country for the tournament." [Rodgers Eshitemi]
