Manchester United forward Anthony Martial is increasingly growing frustrated with life under Jose Mourinho as has found himself being sidelined for important matches since the arrival of Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal in January.

The France international did not feature in the derby win over Manchester City at the Etihad and there are claims that Mourinho has lowered him to a third-choice winger behind Sanchez and Marcus Rashford.

According to The Times, Mourinho and his staffs are concerned by Martial’s attitude in training and his concentration levels. They think the player is not proving himself enough at Carrington to guarantee a starting spot in the squad.

The 22-year-old’s future at Old Trafford is in doubts and reports indicates that he is looking for a transfer away from the club, a move which United fans have come out to condemn and promise to stage a demonstration.

Mourinho does not want a De Bruyne and Salah’s situation to repeat itself and have tried together with the board to keep the star at Old Trafford by pinning him down to a bumper five-year deal with the club but he has so far turned it down as he wants to be assured of more playing time.

The former Monaco star has only managed five consecutive starts this season. He has only netted five times and set up seven in all competition.

It is believed that top teams including Juventus, PSG and Tottenham are all gearing up for his signature if at all he will request to leave.
