Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho claims he is not worried if his side will not win the derby against Pep Guardiola's led side Manchester City today evening.

Manchester City have been in the lead this season and have the advantage to win the Premier League title today. This will be their third crown in six years should they get the three points against the Red Devils.

However, having lost to Liverpool in the first-leg of the Champions League quarter-finals at Anfield, Pep is likely to rest his important players to prepare them for the second leg of the tie.

In 2006, Mourinho was with Chelsea when he beat Sir Alex Ferguson’s United at Stamford Bridge to win the Premier League title and so he won’t mind seeing Manchester City lift the trophy.

He was quoted by Metro saying, ‘I won the title at Chelsea against Manchester United,” Mourinho told a news conference on Friday.

‘We beat United 3-0 and we won the title at Stamford Bridge in 2005-06. But it was not the end of the world, Manchester United didn’t finish. It was just football.

‘The only thing I can say is that we want to win, we don’t want to offer them the game.

‘It is normal that you want to delay the champions becoming champions.

‘We would like to beat them, we would like Spurs to beat them next week, we would like them to be champions as late as possible.

‘That is normal in football but in this case obviously they are going to be champions because there is a very significant difference.’
