Sudanese giants Al Hilal Omndurman are expected to tour Kenya from Friday 2 February 2018 for a series of friendlies. The 26 times Sudan Premier League champions are set to play AFC Leopards on February 4 before facing off with Gor Mahia on February 6, 2018 at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

After their tour in Kenya, the Sudanese giants will fly to Monrovia, Liberia on 7th February ahead of their African Champions League preliminary round match against LISCR FC that weekend.

Two years ago, Gor Mahia played Al Hilal in a friendly match in Port Sudan and won 1-0 with Enock Agwanda scoring the winner in the 47’ minutes. K’Ogalo are also preparing to host Equatorial Guinea’s Leones Vegetarianos for the first leg of the Caf Champions League before traveling to Equatorial Guinea for the return leg a week later.

Gor Mahia won their first trophy of the season after beating AFC Leopards 1-0 in the Kenya Premier League Super Cup at Afraha Stadium last Sunday.

K’Ogalo has also been involved in a friendly match securing a win of 4-2 against Ugandan top side KCCA in 2018. AFC Leopards also had a chance of facing KCCA winning 2-1.

These friendlies will help both teams in preparations for the CAF champions league scheduled to start next month. Gor Mahia just like other teams will be hoping to qualify for group stages and eventually win the tournament.
