The 38th Kenya Communications Sports Organisation (Kecoso) games enter the penultimate stage in Kisumu today.

Yesterday, the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) subdued the National Broadcaster Kenya Broadcasting (KCB) 19-3 to glide into today's Darts final as Kenya Ports  Authority (KPA) inched closer to the crown after maintaining an unbeaten run. They have a mountain to climb as they slug it out with hot favourites Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC).

KPA defended their basketball title after edging out KCAA 56-50 at the Kenyatta Sports ground yesterday.

In soccer, Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) sailed into the finals after drubbing Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) 7-0 in a one-sided encounter at Kisumu’s Moi Stadium on Wednesday.

John Oginga scored a hat trick with Anthony Kimani striking a brace before Keegan Ndemi and Otieno Judue scored one goal each.

KPA are likely to face Kenya Maritime Authority or Ministry of Sports, Culture and the Arts (MOSCA), who are yearning to secure a spot in tomorrow’s finals.

The dockers, who are guided by George Owoko, stormed off the blocks with gusto running rings around the woeful KAA side. Oginga was on fire from the opening whistle netting the first goal in the seventh minute for 1-0 lead at the break.

KAA’s keeper James Otieno and defenders Vincent Oyuga and Dacha Marvin made unsuccessful attempts to stop KPA’s aggression.

In netball, KPA silenced Ministry Of Sports, Culture and Arts (Mosca) 70-15 while Kenya Maritime Authority (KMA) beat KBC 62-33 at Kenyatta Sports Grounds.

Earlier on, KBC emerged the first team to bag a trophy after beating KAAA 3-0 in the Snooker games.

KBC outclassed the airport custodians in a tense but exciting showpiece at Royal City Hotel yesterday. KBC are leading in Scrabble after maintaining a winning streak.
