School Games: Reigning national secondary schools girls basketball champions Tiwi back to drawing board

Reigning national secondary schools girls basketball champions Kaya Tiwi School of Kwale County, Coast region, have embarked on an early training programme.

School Principal Robert Aran said they need to start preparations early to make an impact and successfully defend the title. "We lost our East African secondary schools basketball title in Gulu, Uganda, last month to well-prepared teams," said Aran.

He said that in collaboration with the team coach Philip Onyango, they will come up with a training programme starting this month till next year [Ernest Ndunda].
