Last year's Coast region girls' football silver medallists Kwale Girls will renew their rivalry with defending champions Waa Girls when county secondary schools Term Two 'B' games start today at Msambweni Secondary School.

Interestingly, both teams met last week during the Matuga sub-county games where Waa beat Kwale Girls 2-1 in the preliminary round, before Kwale revenged in the final.

Waa Girls open their title defence with a pool 'A' match against Ngozi before facing Mackinnon and Lulu.

In pool B, Kwale Girls face Franz Josef before playing Mnyenzeni and Rondwe. In boys' football, defending champions Shimba Hills play Ramisi in pool B.

Other teams in the pool are Shimoni and Ndavaya, while pool A has Mkongani, Lunga Lunga, Samburu and hosts, Msambweni.

In boys' volleyball, title holders Waa Boys clash with Kinango in their opener, before facing former champions Mivumoni and Mwananyamala in pool A. Pool B has Mwaluphamba, Msambweni, Mazeras and Shimoni.

Kwale Girls, who are volleyball defending champions, will play Kinagoni in their first match, before facing Myindeni and Franz Josef in pool A.

Pool B has Waa Girls, Shimoni, Bofu and Diani Maendeleo.

Meanwhile, Taita Taveta County games begin today to Saturday, where winners will take part in region games.

Teams will compete in football, volleyball and racquet games.
