Zimbabwe sends female footballers to Brazil to be impregnated by soccer legends to upgrade talent

Brazilian media reports that the sporting relationship between Zimbabwe and Brazil has gone a step higher. This is after Zimbabwean female footballers consented to sire a footballing era with Brazilian retired soccer legends.

Sources in Zimbabwe have uncovered that a choice of 10 ladies soccer players (involving 5 who plays in the national team, three who play in the local women's first division and two retired national team players) was made and the government will carter for everything including all expenses to convey and bring up the kids under the New Sports Generation Fund.

A representative of the local football governing body Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) uncovers that a similar relationship that saw Zimbabwe men's group playing Brazil in Zimbabwe National Sports Stadium preceding 2010 World Cup brought about the consent to sire football genes towards the Southern African country.

"We applaud the sacrifice made by the 10 brave women who agreed to put national interests first and travel to Brazil for the NSGF project. This was after a recommendation by our local doctors in collaboration with Brazilian doctors to try and transfer footballing genes to Zimbabwe. All tests have been done and the Brazilian football legends have already donated their sperms, we expect perfect results. How the kids will be raised will be determined by their mothers." The representative indicated.

The initiative is believed to have been engineered by the football local governing body's ZIFA President who was also selected to lead the regional body COSAFA Phillip Chiyangwa who is eager to leave a legacy in African football.

Perhaps this is the direction Kenya should also take. Our only hope is that our Sports Cabinet Secretary, Hassan Wario is reading this and should perhaps consider this sort of exchange program with Brazil.
