Not many people live their dreams. But for James Githinji, Christmas will come early as he heads to England to watch his beloved club Chelsea take on Hull City live at the Stamford Bridge Stadium.

The school teacher in Nyeri has always dreamt of watching Chelsea in their home ground.

Well, the dream will come to pass next weekend after Githinji secured a round-trip ticket to watch the English Premier League leaders thanks to the ongoing Guinness Get Booked campaign.

He will travel to the UK to watch Chelsea take on Hull City live on December 13 at the Stamford Bridge.

“I am happy for this opportunity. EPL is not only competitive but is a globally lucrative league,” said the St Mary’s Boy High School teacher.

Githinji will travel alongside his close friend and fellow teacher John Karanja to the UK. The full-board trip caters for two people.

“We are really excited for this great opportunity to be able to travel to the UK to watch our team live, we are optimistic that Chelsea will win this match because we have the confidence in the team and the team manager Jose Mourinho is the best manager I know, “said Karanja.

Githinji also doubles up as a lecturer at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (Jkuat) where he teaches Sciences and also has a part-time job at Karatina University, among other personal businesses.

On the other hand, Karanja, apart from being a secondary school teacher, does part-time jobs at various academic institutions.

Githinji is the fourth winner in the ongoing Guinness ‘Get Booked’ campaign after Fredrick Shabani from Meru, Duncan Simiyu from Kitale and Bernard Koech, who won in September, October and November respectively.

For the last four months, the soccer-themed campaign has generated interest among consumers and football fans across the country.

So far, Guinness has also rewarded millions of cash prizes to its patrons across the country in various outlets with seven winners walking away with Sh100,000.

The campaign will end on December 31, 2014.
