Most commercial poultry farmers are concentrated within Nairobi and its environments. Lately, temperatures have been on the decline affecting poultry production. For the chicks in brooders, the challenge is to maintain correct body temperatures for the first 14-21 days. This is the most critical period and any mistakes may be costly.
