Tired of waiting for the county government to rehabilitate broken infrastructure in Naivasha, a group of traders have started repairing roads around the CBD.

Majority of roads were rendered impassable and worsened by ongoing rains.

They began repairing sections of Kariuki Chotara, Biashara Street, Kenyatta Avenue and Mbaria Kaniu roads that hosts tens of business entities.

Trader Duncan Karanja said they have written letters to the county to no avail.

“Next phase is to marshal locals to stop paying taxes since we have not received any help,” he said.
