Gachagua unveils Democracy for Citizens Party, names Malala deputy

"Kenyans have boldly told us to form a party that will form an inclusive government for the people and by the people. We finally have a political party that belongs to all of us, where everyone will be treated equally," said former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua as he unveiled the Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP) on Thursday, May 15.

In an anticipated political move, Gachagua presented DCP as a home for every Kenyan, resonating with their needs for equality, accountability, and citizen-led governance.
