Kuria's claims on Muchai's death scorned

Webuye West MP Dan Wanyama has castigated Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria on his claims that it's the Central Organisation of Trade Union (Cotu) Secretary General Francis Atwoli who might have hired assassins to murder Kabete MP George Muchai, his driver and two bodyguards.

Speaking to The Standard, Mr Wanyama called for a proper probe into the legislator's sentiments, which portrayed Mr Atwoli as the person who planned the execution the Kabete legislator.

Diverting attention

"Kuria's sentiments at the burial of the MP was in bad taste and it portrayed Atwoli as a killer, this will jeopardise police investigations. Let Kuria not divert the attention of the officers. If he has evidence let him share it with law enforcers instead of uttering them in public," said Mr Wanyama.

He asked Mr Kuria to stop the activism in him on such serious matters and instead allow the police officers do their work. Before his death, the MP was the deputy of Mr Atwoli and they had been engaged in court battles.
