Nairobi, Kenya: Governors are up in arms against at least 20 Bills before Parliament that they claim are meant to weaken devolution and warned that they would challenge the proposed legislation in court if they were not reviewed.
In response to the alleged flawed Bills at various stages in the National Assembly and Senate, governors and experts yesterday began a three-day consultative meeting to identify all the contentious issues in the bills and propose amendments in line with the interests of counties.
