Many male contestants who lost in the General Election have reportedly taken second wives so that they can get some comfort, away from their nagging spouses, who want a full account of family assets squandered in quest for political office.

I didn't know political failure comes with "spousal" dividends - I'd certainly have tried a hand at politics - knowing failure at every cycle comes with a new spouse!
