Chris Msando family in plea for justice on his 5th memorial

The family of former Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) ICT manager Chris Msando are calling for justice five years after death of their kin in unclear circumstances.

Today, the family convened at Msando's home in Siaya and challenged the government to fast track the case to enable them find closure.

For the family, not even time has taken away the pain and they still break down at the thought of the painful ordeal their kin went through.

Msando's mother, Maria Msando wept as she recalled his mysterious death, which they claim has deeply affected the family.

Ms Msando said she still struggles to sleep almost every night whenever she remembers how her son was brutally murdered five years ago.

"The fact that justice has never been served for my family to get closure and move on, adds salt to the injury," she said.

Msando's first cousin Silvester Makoro said it has been a long time since his brother was murdered.
